
Jennifer Stewart has been an artist since early childhood. She enjoys observing life's daily activities and viewing them from various perspectives. Her artwork provides an interesting perspective to everyday objects and activities.
After majoring in art and anthropology in college, Jennifer began her career as an artist as a decorative painter. She learned a multitude of decorative finishes, such as tompe l'eoil, faux bois, color washes, faux marble, venetian plaster, and various aging techniques. She also created murals and faux finishes for a special events company, working on large scale projects such as the 50th Anniversary of NATO, and paintings and signs for Nickelodeon, VH-1, MTV, The History Channel, Comedy Central and A&E. Jennifer has worked on projects as a decorative painter that have been featured in showhouses, and published in Southern Accents Magazine.
Jennifer currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is inspired by the colors and landscape of her own neighborhood, as well as the events that take place in the city every day.
